RFB-WC 56-10 - Pre-Engineered Bridge System for Chatiemac Road over Baker Brook

Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: These specifications cover the requirements for purchase and delivery of one new pre-engineered bridge system for Chatiemac Road Bridge over Baker Brook, in the Town of Johnsburg. The bridge design and all associated deliverables shall be in conformance with drawings and technical requirements as shown on plans by Schoder Rivers Associates entitled “Pre-Engineered Bridge System for Chatiemac Road Over Baker Brook, Bin 3305380", sheets BR1 and BR2 attached hereto. 

PURPOSE: This specification is provided to describe the design, furnishing and delivery of a pre-engineered, pre-fabricated steel bridge superstructure system, complete with: floor beams, diaphragms, corrugated steel floor decking pans, steel end dams at the floor decking, steel backwall plates, bridge rail, bridge rail connection brackets, elastomeric bearing assemblies, bearing anchor bolts, field assembly bolts, miscellaneous hardware, and similar items as required for a complete bridge superstructure framing assembly, and an erection plan keyed to the provided items.
