SCOPE:
Warren County is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of up to two (2) 8’x 10’ Communication shelters. These shelters will house electronics equipment used for the County radio system. The shelters will be delivered to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 1400 State Route 9, Lake George, NY 12845. Delivery to be included in bid price. The building specifications below are typical for a high quality, medium duty communications equipment enclosure. Several brands and types may be considered if they meet or exceed all of the specifications and warranties listed below. The County intends to install these units at “ground level” (not mountaintop) sites on a concrete or crushed stone pad.
AWARD:
The building(s) are being purchased using a portion of a NYS grant called the Statewide Interoperable Communications Grant Program – Targeted Grant Program (SICG). The award will be based on NYS grant requirements (which includes overall MBE 15%, WBE 15% and SDVOB 6% utilization goals), price, ability to meet specifications, completeness (assembled/not assembled), delivery time and warranties. MBE, WBE and SDVOB vendors are encouraged to bid. Please note that the County reserves the right to only purchase units that are within budget appropriations.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids proposing to furnish units which, in the opinion of the Warren County Sheriff or his designee, are not satisfactory. Assembled units may be given preference if within 5% of low responsible bid for unassembled units. MBE, WBE & SDVOB vendors may also be given preference over low responsible bid submissions.
