Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this specification to secure a bid for the pickup and delivery service for laundering of patient's clothes, bath blankets, bed spreads, bed pads, wash cloths, johnny coats, rubber sheets, isolation items, various kitchen cloths and mops and other miscellaneous items, as set forth in the attached bid proposal for the Westmount Nursing Facility in Queensbury NY and Residential Hall in Warrensburg. It is also the intent of this proposal to secure a bid for rental supply, laundering, and delivery service of clean bed and bath linens, as set forth in the attached bid proposal for Westmount Nursing Facility in Queensbury NY and the County Residential Hall in Warrensburg NY. Warren County Westmount Health Facility is currently in the process of implementing and in-house laundry as a result of a recent co-generation project. The contract for these facilities, therefore, shall for a one month term with automatic monthly renewals up to a period of 1 year unless the contract is terminated upon 30 days written notice by the Westmount Administrator. The Administrator may terminate the contract at the end of the first month or subsequent monthly period and bidder shall be paid for only those services actually provided through the date of termination of the contract in accordance with the prices set forth in the bid.
