041-23 - Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual Development

The County of Wayne is soliciting proposals for the purpose of establishing a County-wide accounting policy and procedure manual. The County has implemented several policies, but does not currently document the daily accounting activities and methods of each department. The County has 28 separate departments that handle their own accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, grant management, and other financial aspects of their department. The County is desirous of requesting a vendor to assist in the creation of an accounting policy and procedure manual that will memorialize these current practices and procedures
