038-24 - Attorney Grievance Counsel

SCOPE OF WORK 1. Responding to Complaints/Investigations: * Represent the Wayne County DA and ADAs in responding to any grievances filed with the Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct. * Address and manage all aspects of the complaint and investigation process. 2. Filing Written Answers: * Prepare and file written responses to any complaints within 20 days of service. 3. Motions and Requests: * Make appropriate motions or requests for subpoenas on behalf of the prosecutors. * Ensure all procedural and substantive motions are properly handled. 4. Discovery Review: * Request and review all discovery related to the complaint. * Analyze evidence and provide strategic advice based on findings. 5. Proceedings and Hearings: * Appear at any proceedings or hearings with the prosecutors. * Represent the DA and ADAs during all stages of the hearing process. 6. Post-Hearing Submissions: * Submit post-hearing briefs addressing issues of fact and law. * Draft proposed findings and recommendations as required.
