The purpose of these specifications is for the operation of the complete Food & Nutrition Services of the Wayne County Nursing Facility. The functions to be performed in the operation of these Services consist of the following:

Feeding of up 192 residents of the Wayne County Nursing Facility including special diets, nourishments and supplements but excluding enteral feeding.
Provision of special food services and supplies for special functions.
Provision of meals for staff, visitors, administrative guests and volunteers.
Operation of Canal Pub.
Mass emergency feeding.
Feeding on average 100 jail inmates housed by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
