The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES’ (BOCES) has been awarded a grant thru New York State and Empire State Development for the purchase of equipment of heavy equipment simulator training program to support student training and career development in the fields of diesel technology, power mechanics, and conservation. Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking bids for the equipment outlined in the specifications for our Technical and Career Center in Williamson, New York.
Funding for this grant stipulates a Minor and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) goal of 30% and participation of Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Business (SDVOB) if possible. Due to the M/WBE goal and the SDVOB participation request we are encouraging all M/WBE or SDVOB vendors to review our solicitation and to submit a proposal if they are able to supply. To help promote this mission, the award of this solicitation will be based on best value and giving M/WBE and SDVOB entities points for either of these designations. The responsible and responsive bidder meeting the specifications that obtains the highest score will be awarded the entire contract.
Bids will be received at the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Business Office, 131 Drumlin Court, Newark, NY 14513-1863 until 3:00 PM Local Time, April 20, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any proposal that in the opinion of the Board is in the best interest of the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES. The BOCES reserves the right to purchase any item(s) from current State Contracts if such purchase(s) is deemed to be in the best interest of the BOCES.
