Summary of Specifications:
Annual Inspection and Repair of Centrifuges (Rotating Assemblies)including Gearboxes at the Yonkers Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work under this Contract will be to disassemble, removal to an outside service facility, inspect and overhaul, return of the overhauled unit back to the project site and re-installation. The Contractor shall remove the first centrifuge for service and repair within thirty (30) days from the Notice to Proceed, unless otherwise advised by the County in writing. All shop work shall be completed and the unit shall be returned to the treatment plant within twelve (12) weeks of removal. Additional centrifuges shall be removed and overhauled at the rate of one per calendar year.
