RFP-DOTOP01-15 - Bee-Line Para Transit Services Request For Proposals (RFP)

Summary of Specifications:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is issued to solicit responses from qualified, experienced transportation vendors interested in providing ParaTransit services in Westchester County. 

Service is to be provided in two zones; interstate 287 essentially serves as the boundary between the two zones. 



Proposers must submit offers for both of the following zones: 



1) Southern Westchester County (“South County Areas” - Zone S) 2) Northern Westchester County (“North County Areas” - Zone N) 

The successful proposer will be responsible for hiring and training drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, road supervisors and office staff. The Provider will also be responsible for dispatching, maintaining the County owned fleet in accordance with WCDPW&T specifications, manufacturer recommendations and State regulations so that vehicles pass New York State Department of Transportation inspections; investigating complaints; maintaining certain financial and operating statistics, and generally insuring that the highest quality service is provided in accordance with the service-specification.
