ITB-11-503 - Rehabilitation of Fulton Avenue Bridge, Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Summary of Specifications:
The project includes the removal and replacement of the steel bridge deck, steel stringers, sidewalk panels and various secondary members. The operator’s house and housed electrical components will also be removed and replaced. Drive motors, switches, brakes, span locks, the main power feed submarine cable and other electrical and mechanical components of the bridge will also be removed and replaced. A new emergency generator will be installed in a new housing along with an emergency span drive. The entire structure will also be painted and the timber fender system will be rehabilitated.
