Pre-manufactured Open-Air Shelter/Pavilion for Waterfront Recreational Area
Quantity: One (1)
Preferred Size: 36’ X 36’
Permits are the responsibility of the selected vendor.
NC Licensed Engineer stamped shop drawings and design calculations, certified for 140 mph wind load. Shop drawings shall include general framing plan, truss or beam profiles, loads and fabrication details for all wood members and steel assemblies and concrete slab & footings. Must also indicate dimensions, wood grades, drilled holes, fasteners, and cambers.
Supplier must be a company specializing in the design and fabrication of shelters with a minimum of five (5) years documented experience.
Manufacture & Delivery.
The main structural beams and/or trusses are to be fabricated and assembled to the fullest extent possible in a plant for facilities for performing work specified. For Wood structures, factory drill all holes to the extent possible using steel as templates.
Rendering of final product shall be provided with quote for consideration and anticipated schedule.
Major Milestones:

Sealed drawing of structure and slab-3 weeks from contract award.
Documents/ Drawings necessary to obtain required permits-Prior to commencement of work

All Material, Labor & Management, shipping and handling of this project related to the Shelter is the responsibility of the selected vendor.

Interested bidders may provide a quote or complete and sign this Request for Quote and either email it to cbaysden@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver to Christy Baysden at the Public Services Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Taxes will not be shown on Purchase Order; however, such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices. The Vendor must accept City of Jacksonville Purchase Order and the Terms and Conditions.
