The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Beirut Memorial Grove Signs located in
Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The project consists of the construction of two new 50” curved
monument signs. Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, grading,
foundation and concrete work, brick masonry, site lighting and all other work
required to complete the project.
All bids are to be returned to Deanna Trebil, Project Manager by 5:00 PM on May 7
2020 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street,
Jacksonville, NC 28540. There will not be a public bid opening.
If bid is not being mailed, due to COVID-19, informal sealed bids are due by 5PM on May 7, 2020 by dropping bids off at City Hall. Although City Hall is closed to the public, you may contact the receptionist when you arrive at City Hall to arrange for your bid to be received.
The responsibility for submitting bids (including all documents requested herein) is solely and
strictly that of the bidder. The CITY is not responsible for delays in the delivery of the mail or
delays caused by any other occurrence. Bids received after the time for closing will not be
considered.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the Engineering Division at
Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons
requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids,
and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
