The City of Jacksonville is seeking bids (RFB) for bleachers for the baseball field at Jack
Amyette Recreation Center. The City is interested in purchasing four (4) sets of Belson,
10 row x 24’ with aluminum picket guardrails bleachers; and one (1) bleacher tow kit to
include: tongue, two (2) 14’ wheel sets and built in hydraulic jacks. This will be a onetime
purchase.

Bidders must submit their sealed bid as a hard copy. Bids are to remain valid 60 days
after receipt of bids.
Bids are due by 3:00 PM (EST) on May 22, 2023, either via mail or hand delivery. The
Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope/box marked: “Bleachers for Jack Amyette
Recreation Center Formal RFB, Bid No FY23-10” Address to mail in the bid is: City of
Jacksonville, Attn: City Clerk, 815 New Bridge St, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541.
Any bid that is submitted after the time stated will be considered non-responsive and will
not be considered.
There will be a public bid opening on May 22, 2023 @ 3:00pm. It will be held at 815 New
Bridge St, Jacksonville NC 28540 in Meeting Rooms A & B.
There will be no pre-bid meeting. Individual meetings with Bidders will not be held due
to personnel workload.
