Advertisement for Bid:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting bids for the purchase of tires on an as needed basis on behalf of the Fleet
Maintenance Department. The terms of this procurement begins July 1, 2023 and ends June 30, 2026. With
this contract The City will select items that are most advantageous to the City. Vendors must be able to provide
all listed items.
Sealed bids from qualified Bidders will be received, by the City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville, at Meeting Room A,
City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on May 25, 2023, at
which time they will be publicly opened and read.
In order for this to be considered a responsive bid, the bid form must be completed, and
signed then submitted in a sealed envelope. The responsibility for submitting proposals
(including all documents requested herein) is solely and strictly that of the vendor. City
of Jacksonville is not responsible for delays caused by any other occurrence.
Bid shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the Project title,
Bid number, the name and address of the Bidder.
If the Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the
Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the
notations BID ENCLOSED, title of the work, Bid number, and name of the Bidder.
