The City of Jacksonville and Jacksonville Transit are seeking proposals from Contractors to provide professional services to design, purchase and install audio visual (AV) equipment
in a new facility known as Jacksonville Station. The City of Jacksonville is currently under construction of this new multi-modal transit facility at the corner of E. Thompson Street and
Marine Boulevard. Construction is expected to be completed the fall of 2021.
This project is funded in part by the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA). As such, this procurement is subject to federal terms and conditions as stated herein to which the Contractor must comply.
This RFP is focused on obtaining the latest networked and controllable AV equipment, compatible control and delivery systems, pricing of equipment and the design of the pre-selected areas for installation.
Upon the selection of a firm, further negotiations will occur to refine specifics related to each room individually.

PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
Submit three (3) hard copies of the proposals and one (1) digital or flash drive containing a PDF of the proposal by 5:00 PM (EST) on October 1, 2020 in the Transportation Department of Jacksonville City Hall,
located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The proposal package shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope/box marked: Request for Proposals – Audio Visual Equipment for Jacksonville Station and delivered to: City of Jacksonville, Attn: Deanna Trebil,
815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
There will be no pre-proposal meeting. Questions about this proposal shall be submitted via email and will be answered until 5:00 PM (EST) on September 18, 2020. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Individual meetings with Firms will not be held due to personnel workload.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids,
and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
