The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals for the on-demand purchase of FY24-Batteries for the Fleet Maintenance Department. The term of this procurement begins August 1, 2023, and ends August 1, 2026. The City will select items based upon the criteria listed in Section IV that is most advantageous to the City. The City of Jacksonville will be awarding the Purchase Order to one (1) vendor for all parts listed in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
Proposals due to the City of Jacksonville by 3PM July 19, 2023
Vendors may submit their Proposal digitally if the due date and time requirements are met. If the proposal is submitted digitally, no hard copies will need to be submitted.
If a Vendor chooses to submit a hardcopy of their proposal, submit three (3) hard copies of the proposal. The hard copies shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope/box marked: “Request for proposals: FY24 Batteries” and delivered to: City of Jacksonville, Attn: Fleet Maintenance, 350 C S. Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Proposals are due by 3:00 PM (EST) on July 19, 2023, either via email to jnelson@jacksonvillenc.gov and mdean@jacksonvillenc.gov or by mail. Any proposal that is submitted after the time stated will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered. If submitting digitally, the Vendor may wish to use the email receipt confirmation to confirm delivery of the proposal.
There will be no pre-proposal meeting. Questions about this proposal must be submitted via email and will be answered until 5:00 PM on July 5, 2023. Questions received will be answered through issuance of an addendum. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Individual meetings with Vendors will not be held due to personnel workload.
The following forms must accompany your proposal to be considered responsive:
- Full installation instructions, and clarity of instructions will be included
- Form A – Certification Regarding Lobbying
- Form B – Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility Certification
- Form C – DBE Utilization
- Form D – Letter of Intent Perform as Subcontractor
- Form E – Affidavit of No Change for DBE Business
