Request for Quotes

I.        Quotes Due
All quotes are due by 4:00 p.m. on September 18, 2019 for the specified tonnage of #57 stone (350 Tons) and ABC Rock (200 Tons) as noted on this Request for Quotes. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Quotes and either email it to Barrysha Wilson at bwilson@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver it to the Public Services Department, Utilities Maintenance Division, at 350 S. Marine Blvd., Jacksonville, NC 28540.
II.      Qualifications
The successful bidder must be properly licensed to do business in the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices.
III.     Rights
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all quotes, and to accept that quote or quotes which appear to be in the Owner’s best interest.
IV.      Inspection
All materials/supplies shall be the subject of inspection by the Chief Wastewater Operator at time of delivery.
V.       Quotes to Be Retained
Quotes are to remain valid for a period not to exceed 30 days.
