The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for: • Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current transit service and potential alternative models including, but not limited to: • Continuing or expanding the existing Smart Shuttle service, • A transition to fixed route,A transition to deviated fixed route, • Hybrid service providing a combination of fixed-route and microtransit service • Evaluating the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and operational implications of each proposed transit service model. • Engaging with key stakeholders through up to three stakeholder meetings, an online survey or portal for public feedback, and participation in at least two in-person public outreach event. • Soliciting feedback and presenting study findings and recommendations at up to four Town Council meetings and the ability to request additional meetings with fee. • Providing a detailed project plan outlining tasks, milestones, and submission of deliverables. • Delivering a final report summarizing the study findings, cost estimates, and recommendations within a 9-month timeframe.
