Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by Guilford Technical Community College and is seeking to prequalify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the GTCC Aviation Training Center – Building 1 project in Colfax, NC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of a new ground-up two-story education building for Guilford Technical Community College’s Aviation Program on their Cameron Campus in Colfax, NC. The roughly 70,000 square foot building will house offices, labs, storage and classrooms and connect to an existing energy plant. The site is pad-ready, but will require additional paving, grading and utilities to complete the project.
