Vendor shall provide the following uniformed security services in and around WTCC campuses as designated per campus location. Security personnel will provide a variety of services, implementing WTCC's security objectives according to policies and procedures which may include but is not limited to the following tasks: a. Entry and egress access control b. Roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas. Maintain high visibility in assigned area by patrolling on foot through the buildings hourly. c. Visitor and building employee identification verification. Work a post such as a welcome desk, answering phones and/or questions from guests as they enter buildings. d. Verifying and issuing, etc. employees and students’ ID’s and parking passes at each campus location e. Complete incident and daily operating reports. f. Monitoring and responding to base building intrusion detection systems, alarms and fire detection equipment, responding to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating procedures g. Monitor radio traffic and maintain communication with WTCC dispatch center h. Establish a good working relationship with staff, faculty, students and police department i. Become familiar with emergency operations procedures and assist with evacuations or lock-downs in the event of emergencies j. Unlock or lock classrooms, offices or buildings as requested k. Must be able to provide up to twenty (20) security guards for special events including graduation ceremonies l. Upon request, may be asked to assist with parking issues during special events, such as, directing traffic, monitoring designated lots for VIPs. m. Must inform their office (via phone call, text, email) in the event of absence so their post can be covered by another officer n. Vendor shall provide appropriate and necessary management and supervision for all Vendor’s employees and shall be solely responsible for instituting and invoking disciplinary action of employees not in compliance with Vendor’s rules and regulations, as well as any other policy established by the contracting parties. o. Vendor shall ensure hiring, training and administration of motivated and professional employees that meet or exceed both Vendor’s and WTCC’s standards. p. Vendor is responsible for the daily personal appearance of security personnel. Vendor shall provide seasonal uniforms and weather-appropriate protective clothing necessary to support continuous performance of contract requirements. q. Security officers are prohibited from carrying weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: firearms, nightsticks, martial arts weapons or equipment, batons or any chemical agent spray or liquid. r. Vendor shall agree to remove from the site, whenever required to do so by WTCC, any employee or visitor considered by WTCC to be unsatisfactory or undesirable to WTCC, within the limits of any applicable laws. s. Vendor shall administer all cost accounting and billing relative to this contract. Vendor shall respond as necessary to accommodate additional duty hours as may be requested by WTCC.
