SMALL BUSINESS GRANTS a) Quickly establish the grant program; please state the earliest date(s) to begin the contract and accept applications. b) Create a dedicated information and application page on the organization’s website c) Promote the program including press, partner outreach, and direct community outreach for the purpose of educating about the program and assisting small businesses in understanding program fit d) Accept applications via the online application for a set application period of not less than two weeks e) Process applications and fund grants per standardized guidelines in a consistent and expeditious fashion, towards a goal of deploying grants as quickly as possible. f) Verify that awards do not duplicate funding already provided through insurance or FEMA assistance. g) Report fund progress (# grants made, total $ amount of grants made, total $ amount of administrative expenses claimed, grants per business size (1-5 employees, 6-10 employees, 11-15 employees, 16-20 employees, 21-24 employees), grants by job sector, # of BIPOC owned businesses, #women-owned businesses, # of jobs retained/hired) on a monthly basis until the final closeout report 30 days after all grants have been awarded h) Support Spanish-language requests where needed using bi-lingual staff as well as comply with Title VI and/or utilizing other language resources to provide equal opportunity in other languages 2) INDIVIDUAL/HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANCE a) Quickly establish the grant program; please state the earliest date to begin the contract and accept applications. b) Create a dedicated information and application page on the organization’s website c) Promote the program including press, partner outreach, and direct community outreach for the purpose of educating about the program and assisting individuals/households in understanding program fit d) Accept applications via the online application for a set application period of not less than two weeks e) Process applications and provide assistance per the standardized guidelines herein in a consistent and expeditious fashion, towards a goal of deploying financial assistance as quickly as possible f) Verify that awards do not duplicate funding already provided through insurance or FEMA assistance. g) Report fund progress (# individuals/households served, total $ amount of assistance provided, total $ amount of administrative expenses claimed, individuals/households served disaggregated by demographic information) on a monthly basis until the final closeout report 30 days after all grants have been awarded h) Support Spanish-language requests where needed using bi-lingual staff as well as comply with Title VI and/or utilizing other language resources to provide equal opportunity in other languages
