Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Scope.3.1.1.While the City is flexible with respect to certain elements of its proposedrelationship with the Managed Security Services Provider, the City does havecertain preferences for that relationship and has developed the following proposedmodel for that relationship. The City has the following Managed Security Servicesrequirements for this RFP.a. 24/7 monitored Intrusion Prevention Sensors (IPS)/Intrusion Detection Sensors(IDS) located at City facilities.i.City will maintain full access to IPS/IDS.ii.All events recorded by these sensors must be available for review bydesignated City personnel ad-hoc.iii.If events are judged to be of a malicious nature Service Provider'scertified security personnel will contact designated City Personnel,provide options to deal with events and implement option chosen by Citypersonnel 24/7.iv.City must be able to generate ad-hoc reports from events recorded by thesensors.v.In the event that a Tier II report is needed outside of the ad-hoc reportsavailable to the city, the company will provide to the customer on a 1business day turnaround.vi.City will provide IPS/IDS hardware and software.vii.If the Company has an option to provide IPS/IDS hardware and softwaresolution please describe.viii.Company will provide performance data for IPS/IDS (CPU, memory,bandwidth utilization, etc) and alert if they exceed thresholdsix.Company will ensure IDS/IPS signatures are kept up to date.x.Company will provide a 24/7 (NOC) Network operations center thathandles the alerts.
