Specifications include, but are not limited to: The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS), Raleigh Farmer’s Market (the “Market”) is requesting the submission of rental proposals for the Market’s “Garden Center” to operate a garden center/greenhouse/retail business/restaurant, etc. The Market has a long term interest in obtaining a quality service operation to compliment North Carolina Farmers and Agriculture, and an operation that will have the atmosphere of an independently owned business, operating year-round with staff that provides quality service to the Market’s customers. The Proposer shall provide North Carolina products that are primarily grown, caught or raised in North Carolina; minimally 50%, preferred 75%. Prefer proposer participates in agriculture education and/or agriculture tourism.
