Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scheduled Maintenance: (At a minimum shall include) • The contractor shall provide scheduled maintenance quarterly. • This will include tightening and adjusting of hardware on adaptive equipment such as standers, wheelchairs, and mechanical lifts, and all other maintenance required by the manufacturer. • This portion of the contract should whenever possible be performed on site. • Additional shop supply costs shall not be considered for payment for routine scheduled maintenance. Unscheduled Maintenance: (At a minimum shall include) • The contractor shall provide unscheduled maintenance or repairs when any unforeseen issues arise. • This will include any and all maintenance failures or problems not covered under the scheduled maintenance portion of the contract. • This portion of the contract will be billed with a “rate-per hour, plus parts” method. • See above, but additional “shop” supply costs and miscellaneous charges shall not be included for payment. • This portion of the contract should whenever possible be performed on site. Transport of Physical Therapy Equipment: (At a minimum shall include) • The contractor shall provide scheduled transport of equipment at times of track out or transition between programs (school year, summer services) or between tracks (year-round schools) and occasionally when a student moves from one school to another. • This portion of the contract will be billed with a “rate-per mile” method during transport and a “rate-per hour” method during loading/unloading.
