The selected firm will prepare a detailed analysis of the total valuation of all City buildings structures and a separate analysis of all contents. The Proposer shall perform all services required to provide professional appraisal services properly and efficiently. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, the following services on behalf of the City of Durham: 1) Onsite physical inspection and appraisal of City properties by professionally trained staff with attention to: a) Occupancy/usage b) Fire protection and safety c) Sprinklers d) Foundation e) Exterior walls f) Roofing g) Partition walls h) Ceiling i) Building services j) Flooring k) ISO construction class l) Framing m) Date of construction n) Square Footage o) Renovations or additions p) Quality of construction q) Number and height of building stories r) All relevant additional features such as HVAC, basement, plumbing, elevators, perimeter, sprinklers, mezzanines, balconies, and any other features which add value or pose special replacement costs s) Property in the open t) General overall condition...
