on-site training at the contractor’s expense training is for all officers and must be given prior to start date training will be coordinated with designated City staff member designated City staff member will be required to participate in the on-site training supervising officers will maintain at least monthly contact with the city-designated contact to evaluate the quality of service being provided by duty officers the contractor will provide officers experienced and having the temperament to communicate respectfully and courteously with the general public & staff at the Facility. the contractor shall provide information as to the qualifications and experience of all officers to be assigned for duty at the all facilities. the contractor shall provide information regarding hiring and training requirements for officers the contractor shall ensure that all its officers meet and abide by the following conditions: o officers shall be unarmed and wear distinct, clean, plain clothes uniforms with name badge provided by the contractor, at all times while on duty o officers shall be of good integrity and character, certified by criminal records examination to have no record of felony convictions or of motor vehicle violations involving alcohol or drug use o officers are bonded o officers shall not disturb any papers or other materials and shall not use any facility equipment, except that directly related to their duties o officers shall not remove any equipment or materials from the premises o officers must be at least 21 years of age o officers will perform other security duties as assigned by oral and/or written instructions by authorized City of High Point personnel o officers will not smoke inside the facility, only in designated outside area. The contractor will furnish qualified replacement officers within two (2) hours of notification that the scheduled officer cannot report due to an emergency, that the scheduled officer has not reported for duty, that the Department deems an officer to be unacceptable, an officer fails to abide by rules and procedures established by the Department The contractor will notify the Department administration as soon as possible after learning that an officer will be delayed in reporting for duty
