Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Assist UNC in developing and documenting a vision for shared services including identification of achievable 3–5-year goals along with defined financial and non-financial benefits. 2. Conduct a fit-gap analysis between the current shared services state and the 3–5-year goals defined in the vision. The analysis should include recommendations on a shared services operating model including: • A governance model with roles and responsibilities defined for stakeholders including leadership, internal servicing departments, and campuses • A defined System Office organizational structure with roles, responsibilities, and required competencies • A roadmap to align the current shared services state with the recommended state 3. Provide an analysis of both higher education and private sector markets to understand current peer best practice comparisons and pertinent trends.
