Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to qualify and select an information technology support and services company. Key areas of consideration will include proposed project cost, cybersecurity, remote employee & Town Council work capability/capacity, compliance with North Carolina General Statute Chapters 121 & 132 for Record Retention and networking capabilities internal (Town Staff, Town Council) & external (town website, third party on-line registration). Initial Assessment/IT Lifecycle Planning o Establish minimum hardware specifications. o Audit and assess all Hardware and Software. o Determine necessary EOL (End of Life) of hardware and software. o Provide solutions for hardware needs for workstations and laptops, phone system, and security cameras. o Establish a suggested hardware / software replacement plan. o Create list of priorities to address largest technology issues and potential problems. Support o 9-5 Monday-Friday EST Support, Excluding Holidays & Weekends o An allowance of Emergency (Mission Critical) afterhours support up to a specific number of hours. o Remote support and onsite support escalation if necessary. o Monitoring of Network 24X7X365 and reporting issues and suggested actions. o Maintain inventory of IT Hardware & Software Cybersecurity o Have a detailed plan for cybersecurity and Cyber-threat mitigation. o Endpoint Security o Zero Trust Applications for Workstation & Servers Application Whitelisting o Internet Filtering / SIEM o Zero Trust VPN & IDS Intrusion Detection on all Workstations / Servers
