Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NCDOT is seeking a qualified Vendor to employ individuals to serve as station attendants at the Selma train station. The station is owned by the town of Selma, and the NCDOT is a tenant at this location. There are four (4) station attendant employees made up of one (1) team leader and three (3) station attendants. Station attendants’ main duties include meeting and greeting all passengers, disseminating train travel information, customer service, meeting all trains, station security, and station maintenance duties. Station attendants’ duties also include providing schedules, promotional items, etc. for local Convention & Visitors Bureau, libraries, universities, and other area public venues. The Team Leader is the onsite supervisor who, along with regular station attendant duties and shifts, manage record keeping, such as payroll timesheets, scheduling of the attendants, and other administrative duties necessary for the station. The train station is open during hours that accommodate passenger train service at this particular location. The station is open seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year.
