Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide security coverage for the Transit facility, including overnight and weekend shifts. • Ensure coverage includes all holidays and non-operational hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility to adjust hours as required by Transit operations. b. Security Duties: • Conduct hourly patrols of the facility, checking and securing all access points, including the following: o Check doors to ensure that they are locked (may require the use of a provided key card which logs visits at certain critical locations), o Document and report any doors and gates that are not locked, o Document and report any suspicious activity at any facility detected through hourly patrols, o Document and report emergency situations to 911 and the designated representatives for Transit. • Perform temperature screening for all employees and visitors as part of COVID-19 health and safety protocols. • Manage vendor and visitor check-ins to ensure accurate tracking and compliance with facility protocols. • Monitor provided surveillance systems and respond to alarms and disturbances. Any deviation from this specified scope of service must be approved by the designated representative for Transit. c. Equipment and Vehicles: • Security personnel will be equipped with a mobile telephone and will not carry a weapon. • Utilize high-visibility vehicles and signage provided by the Town for effective patrolling. o Contractor is responsible for all damages and repairs if incurred while operating Town owned vehicles, which will be determined by Town staff. Contractor is required to complete an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review annually and maintain a current copy of each driver’s license. The Town reserves the right to suspend, or revoke driving privileges at any time and may request Contractor driver(s) participate in Safe Driving Training. • Employ mobile communication tools, including a mobile telephone, to maintain contact with the central dispatch/command and emergency services. • Security personnel will be provided a workstation to monitor site video surveillance when not on patrol or escorting employees to and from their personal vehicles as requested.
