Specifications include, but are not limited to: Website design, build, and hosting services for its annual N.C. State Fair website and year-round N.C. State Fair Division website. The Vendor’s solution will provide a web content management system to allow N.C. State Fair staff to maintain the custom designed and built websites, as well as create custom web pages. Both websites will be accessible by the public using today’s popular mobile devices. The newly designed and built annual N.C. State Fair website will engage visitors with e-commerce, social media integration, personalized calendars, optional surveys, event maps, and press releases. The newly designed and built year-round N.C. State Fair Division website will incorporate content from the existing year-round website, to include items such as fairgrounds facilities and rental rates, accommodations, newsletters, staff directory, fairgrounds map, and other existing functionality. NCDA&CS expects the resulting contract to begin in approximately February of 2017.
