Data Collection Gather qualitative and quantitative data on research strengths, academic programs, workforce development programs, industry collaborations, and other relevant areas from participating institutions within the state. Conduct interviews and/or focus groups with key stakeholders (e.g., university/college administrators, faculty, industry partners) where applicable. 2. Analysis of Research Capacity Assess research activities, funding sources, and major research initiatives within the participating institutions. Identify areas of excellence, emerging fields, and research gaps. Education Program Review Map academic programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional education. Analyze interdisciplinary programs, partnerships, and other innovative educational offerings. Workforce Development and Industry Partnerships Gather relevant data on workforce development programs, training initiatives, and partnerships with industry. Potential Synergies Identify opportunities in research, research administration, education, and workforce development. Provide actionable recommendations for leveraging strengths, addressing gaps, and fostering collaboration across institutions and industry. Final Report and Data Prepare a comprehensive report and powerpoint presentation that includes data analysis, key findings, visual representations of mapped assets, and strategic recommendations. Provide an executive summary for ND EPSCoR Steering Committee. Provide all project data collected to ND EPSCoR. Transfer in a manner that is compatible with ND EPSCoR’s systems.
