The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, is conducting a market survey for qualified: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), capable of providing the required services outlined below for the John Cochran Veterans Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. John. The applicable NAICS code is 541310 Architectural Services and the size standard is $12.5 Million. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 85 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: Description of Work Broken Down The St. Louis John Cochran VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking to partner with a design firm on a project to Renovate Ambassador Suite & Main Lobby, Building 1. The Design Firm shall provide basic professional services and construction period services to renovate the Ambassador entrance, entrance corridor, and Ambassador Suite, an area that serves many functions that includes, but not limited to, an information booth, veteran travel reimbursements office, patient advocacy office, and a waiting and consultation area for Pharmacy. Issues to be resolved include improving patient and ADA access to the building, fix moisture and leaking issues with the existing skylight, update finishes, improve patient circulation, optimize space for the existing functions operating in the area, HVAC deficiencies, electrical deficiencies including an electrical closet within the space, and any other Facilities Conditions Assessment deficiencies located within this listed area. The Main Entrance of Bldg. 1 will be updated to facilitate visitor traffic flow and experience. The existing revolving door will be replaced with an airlock of sliding and swinging doors with automatic controls.
