In general the duties will include: Monitor and Answer Phone Calls – Daily calls are filled out clearly and completely. Emergency Response – contacting the proper authorities in the case of an emergency. Access Control – open and monitor main gate for city vehicles access. Patrol Duties – check all security doors, paying special attention to doors with security tape. Material Control – maintain records and coordinate with mangers on call when products and materials are received after hours. Change of shift duties – sign off daily fuel logbook, sewer sheet, and daily yard office sheet at the end of each shift change. This section of the request establishes the requirements for the security officer’s services at the City of Shaker Heights City Hall (3400 Lee Road). The successful bidder will offer a staffing plan which will ensure that each shift is properly staffed by trained security officers. This summary outlines the responsibilities of each post.
