Tandem Axle Converter Dolly is to meet the following specifications and include all standard equipment: Dolly must be a tandem axle unit Dolly must have galvanized frame Drawbar must be hinged Drawbar must be able to reach a height of 45 inches Dolly must have minimum GVWR of 36,000 pounds Dolly must have leaf spring type suspension Fifth wheel must be nominal height, minimum of 40 inches and maximum of 50 inches Fifth wheel must be bolted or fastened to the frame Axles must be sized appropriately for rated GVWR Axles must be oil bath type lubrication All electrical wiring must be in harness All lighting must meet DOT requirements All lighting must be LED type Wheels must be painted steel Tires must be rated for GVWR Dolly must have mud flaps Hubs must be 10 stud with drum type brakes Operator training for 6-9 City of Columbus personnel Shall include operator’s manual Shall include parts and repair manual in print or digital copy
