Specifications include, but are not limited to: This specification describes an annual servicing and calibration of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport s (CLE) Runway Weather Information System (RWIS). The system monitors airport runway status and weather conditions during winter maintenance operations. RWIS is comprised of a combination of pavement and atmospheric sensors, remote processing units (RPU) that transmits data to a visualization software. RWIS provides CLE staff with comprehensive real-time weather data needed to make intelligent decisions about the safety of the airfield. The pavement sensors measure surface temperature, the freezing point temperature, and pavement surface condition. Meteorological sensors on the RPUs records the air temperature, relative humidity, dew point, Wind direction and wind speed. SPECIFICATIONS of PRODUCTS & SERVICES REQUIRED: Preventive maintenance consisting of an inspection, functional checks, adjustments and cleaning in accordance with the manufacture s published guidelines and requirements. Once per year Provide quote to replace failed components Agreement provides $5,000 in additional time, parts to be used, and invoices as needed. Equipment Restoration. In the event of an unplanned equipment failure or outage, Vender shall commence restoration work within three (3) business days after the outage is reported and complete restoration services in a reasonable prompt manner. Diagnosis may be performed remotely and render the system inoperable until which time replacement equipment/parts can arrive to CLE. Repairs required due to Acts of God, lightning, vandalism, etc. are excluded. One (1) restorative trips per year will be allowed under this agreement.
