Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Upper Arlington, Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals to be included on the list of caterers permitted to provide catering services at the Amelita Mirolo Barn facility located at 4395 Carriage Hill Lane Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220 and The Event Center at The Bob Crane Community Center (scheduled to open Spring 2025) located at 3200 Tremont Road Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220. The City currently has contracts for the Amelita Mirolo Barn caterers that go through March 2025, and is soliciting proposals now so that caterer information can be available for events being booked in 2025 at the Amelita Mirolo Barn and the Bob Crane Community Center. The City is soliciting proposals from catering providers, alcohol beverage providers or both to provide services to customers who wish to use these facilities with a catering and/or alcohol service. A list of the permitted caterers will be provided to the licensees (renters) of the facilities. The Amelita Mirolo Barn is a 3,700 sq/ft historic barn constructed of hand-hewn timbers. Inside seating is limited to 150 guests (banquet style) with the potential for additional outside seating. The facility is equipped with; 18-60” round tables, 10 rectangular banquet tables, and 160 padded banquet chairs. There is a 425 sq/ft catering kitchen equipped with counters, refrigerator/freezer, double sink, and a pass-through window. This kitchen is not equipped for any cooking, all cooked foods must be prepared off-site.
