Vendor will assist the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections (CCBOE) by providing 90 drivers to work approximately 6.5 hours each, election night, for the November 5, 2024 General Election. Preference is given to armed and uniformed, off-duty law enforcement officers ("LEOs"), however the vendor may also use unarmed, uniformed security officers as backups if needed on Election Night. Please note that out of the requested 90 officers, some will be used as stand-bys. The purpose of this assignment is to transport materials from polling locations back to the CCBOE tabulation center on election night after the polls have closed. Drivers must be comfortable driving to any location within Cuyahoga County. Some drivers may be assigned to multiple locations. Drivers must be comfortable operating cargo and mini vans at night. These vans will contain election material, and drivers will be required to sign off on BOE Chain of Custody form for the transfer of voted ballots. Drivers will work approximately 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM on November 5, 2024. Drivers may work as late as 1:00 AM, but the majority will be finished by 12:00 AM. Supervisor: Vendor will also provide 1 on-site supervisor to work approximately 7.5 hours on election night. Preference is given to a uniformed, off-duty, Sergeant. The supervisor's assignment will take place approximately 5:30 PM to 1:00 AM on November 5, 2024. Directions: Drivers shall arrive at the BOE Halle Warehouse NO LATER than 5:30 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Parking is available behind the former Recovery Resources building at 3950 Chester Ave, Cleveland 44114. Please note that the meeting location and parking location are subject to change. The CCBOE will notify the vendor if there is a change.
