Union Hall, located on the Columbus Campus of the Columbus State Community College, is undergoing equipment improvements. The existing hot water gas-fired boilers are being replaced with new equipment. The existing Boilers currently serving Union Hall are at the end of their useful life and several boilers are no longer in operation. • This project intends to demo four non-condensing existing Boilers and ancillary equipment (pumps, water heaters/ storage tank, expansion tank, and tempering valve from Union Hall located on the college’s Main Campus in Columbus, Ohio, and install new equipment. • This project also includes demo of the existing gas lines, flues, water piping/ appurtenances, and combustion air ducts to be replaced with new. • Project scope descriptions herein as well as the accompanying drawings identify the scope required to demo/install Boilers to Union Hall. • Scope of work includes removal of aging systems at that facility, as well as ancillary equipment, piping, and facility improvements required to maximize the operation of the new equipment.
