Item No. 1: Reading Aluminum Utility Body or equivalent Body shall be minimum of 8 ft long. Body shall have a minimum height of 41.25”. Body shall be have a minimum of six (6) separate side compartments, three (3) on each side pack. Body shall have flip top storage compartment on both side packs, spanning the length of the body. Body shall include a lockable telescoping cargo area cover. Body shall include Buyers TCH14V or equal front bumper mounted cone holder. Holder not to interfere truck cooling or lighting. Body shall have slam shut type rear tailgate or approved equal for aluminum bodies. Body shall be fully undercoated prior to installation on truck frame. Body shall have a minimum of two (2) shelves in vertical bins. Body shall have a minimum of one (1) shelf in each horizontal bin. Body shall have automotive bulb type weather seals on all bin doors. Body shall have rotary style latches with locks (all bin doors keyed alike) Body shall include LED lighting inside each bin wired to up fitter switch. Switch must be labeled “Compartment Lights” or “Bin Lights.” Body shall include one (1) Whelen JE2SP1A 54” or equal amber/white LED strobe bar mounted to top of cab protector and wired to body up fitter switch. Switch must be labeled “Strobe.” Body shall include four (4) ECCO ED3511AW or equal amber/white LED strobe lights. Two (2) mounted to front grill, and two (2) mounted to rear or body. All strobe lighting to wired to OEM up fitter switch, with a single labeled switch controlling all strobes. Body shall include one (1) 2000w power inverter mounted in curb side rear bin. Inverter circuit to include a minimum of 20’ installation cables to power and ground of chassis battery. Inverter shall be only powered “on” via Ford OEM up fitter switch “engine hot.” Curb side rear bin shall have one (1) 50 ft. minimum extension cord reel with three headed outlet. Body shall include a key rack on street side inside cargo area. Pictures can be provided upon request. Rack shall be constructed with Steel with the following measurements: o 1.5”ID Square tubing o 12 key tubes set 1.5” apart, alternating on center support, lowest tube to be set a minimum of 2” from bed floor. o Rack to be mounted on the passenger side of the bed 2” off the side wall of the bed and 10” from the tailgate. o Rack shall be a minimum of 7” to allow space for handle at tailgate end. Body shall include line-x spray liner or equal on entire cargo area, key rack, and rear bumper. Rear bumper shall be aluminum grip strut and allow for trailer hitch and towing. Body shall include LED marker, turn, stop, and back up lights. Body shall include Chevron pattern red/white conspicuity decals across entire rear of body. Body shall include a 7-way round pin trailer receptacle. Vendor must supply and install one (1) RAM laptop stand P/N RAM-VB-195-SW1 Must mount Ford supplied back up camera. Installation and delivery back to the city shall be by end of first qtr. 2025.
