CRACK SEALING Clean proposed cracks 3/8" and larger using forced air equipment and broom to remove all spoils from site. Seal cracks with a parking lot grade hot rubberized sealant. Cracks shall be banded (squeegee) 3" to improve adhesion to asphalt surface. Sand cracks as necessary in high traffic areas to minimize potential tracking. COMMERCIAL SEALCOATING Surface shall be cleaned using forced air equipment and broom to prepare the surface and all debris will be removed from site. This includes soil around all parking blocks. Spot primer shall be applied to petroleum stains to ensure adhesion. Sealmaster coal tar sealer shall be applied at a rate of 0.10 gallon per square yard. Mixture shall contain 2-3 lbs. of sand per gallon. LINESTRIPING Re-stripe per existing design in yellow. Paint shall be a latex, fast drying, high visibility traffic marking paint used per manufacturers specifications. Striping shall include all ADA, crosswalks and all misc. markings.
