Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of these specifications is to provide habitat enhancement with respect to bat mitigation and tree establishment goals. The location is Eagle Creek Wildlife Area’s Hickory Ridge site. The bat mitigation and tree establishment contract will be from July 15th, 2024, through September 15th 2024. The bid will be awarded to the lowest overall cost. DNR will not award this bid to more than one bidder. A. Contractor shall be deemed to have knowledge of the nature of the work and areas to be enhanced. B. Vendor shall furnish all necessary personnel, supplies, and equipment to provide invasive weed control, young tree protection and grass area enhancement. C. Grazing animals must be used. Any deviation from this schedule due to weather must be approved by the Indian Creek Work Unit Supervisor. A telephone call will be the preferred method of contact for approval 513-875-2111.
