Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor will act as the primary planner and organizer for establishing the PitchX videos and events with oversight and approval by the State. Vendor will work with the State to identify a suitable scope, theme and industry partners for each event. Vendor will utilize its experience to design an implementation plan for all steps of the process necessary to deliver the PitchX initiative successfully. This will include engagement with faculty from Ohio’s institutions of higher education, both generally and, for the faculty specifically invited to record a presentation. Vendor will develop a plan and timeline that meets the state’s desire to release new videos and host events at various intervals to be determined in the plan and timeline specific to each video and event. The vendor will be responsible for all phases of a successful production of each video and events. Separate from the video production, vendor may propose one or more virtual and/or in-person (if appropriate) events to take place over the course of a calendar year. This could include a kickoff event, a culminating event, or any other even the vendor wishes to suggest. If scheduled, vendor should help further relationships between Ohio-based companies and faculty at Ohio’s institutions of higher education for technology and innovation needs. Vendor will coach up to 3 faculty members (chosen by the state) for each of up to seven (7) public pre-recorded events. Each event will be framed by the innovation/technology needs of an industry sector/partner important to Ohio’s economy. Faculty will be expected to deliver highly effective five (5) to fifteen (15) minute recorded presentations that showcase how their research and discoveries directly address a specific commercialization opportunity of the event’s industry sector/partner. The vendor will oversee outreach to the technology commercialization stakeholders to drive engagement with the PitchX Series showcase. Vendor will guide production for the State of a high-quality digital and audio recording of all faculty presentation that are suitable for display as part of a virtual or in-person event. Recording should display a consistent branding within and between each of the events and be aligned with the State of Ohio design standards. Vendor will advise on the development and curation of a “PitchX” (or future branding) website that promotes the events and provides access to recordings of all the events in this series. This website will exist on the state-managed InnovateOhio Platform.
