1. Meet with Great Parks’ Director of Marketing & Communications and Chief of Marketing & Brand Strategy as needed to discuss the location, timing, and focus of campaigns and ad buys. 2. Place advertising across multiple media channels, including traditional, digital and mobile platforms. 3. Manages media placements, including buys, payments, proposals and contracts. 4. Negotiates to acquire cost-efficient and budget-conscious advertising space. 5. Acquires desirable time slots and media space to meet goals of Great Parks. 6. Maintains good relationships with media outlets and networks. 7. Makes recommendations for market opportunities. 8. Designs creative content for both digital and print using Great Parks brand. 9. Uses Brand Guidelines, Comprehensive Master Plan as well as the Park and Facility Master Plan for background context. See master plan link. 10. Designs graphics consistent with brand and style guides.
