A. Shall provide secure means of storing and distributing items. B. Shall have multiple levels of security and accountability C. Shall provide dual validation for controlled substances distribution from specific slots in the Vending System. D. Shall have the capability of dispensing a minimum of 40 items, with capability for expansion. E. Shall have interior lighting for Dispensing Unit and add-on expansion cabinets. F. Shall have adjustable compartment space within the Vending System. G. Shall have network capability for software integration. H. Shall require 115VAC/60Hz power. I. Shall not allow “offline” vending of controlled or scheduled medications. J. Shall not allow vending of expired medicines K. Shall restrict dispensing of a single item within specified time periods. L. Shall have cellular modem capability M. Shall have adjustable compartment spaces N. Shall provide allocation coding for controlled access. O. At minimum, System should send alerts via text and/or email to selected personnel for the following conditions: a. Low Stock Positions b. Out of Range Temperature c. Loss of Internet Connection d. Power Loss e. Usage Spikes f. Expired Products/Medications/Narcotics g. Slot Shut Down (No Dispensing form this Position)
