Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Dayton, Department of Recreation, Division of Sports seeks proposals from multi-discipline teams for professional architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering services for renovations to the parcels currently known as Kettering Field Softball Complex, Centennial Football Field, and former McCook Field. The goal is to have a premier multi-use sporting complex that is focused on reduced maintenance and provides innovative technology These services require expertise and experience in the design of a multi-use sports complex, with walking paths, playgrounds, parking lots, storage/maintenance facilities, artificial turf softball/baseball fields, multi-use fields, and basketball court fieldhouse with restrooms and office space. As part of the request for funding the following elements were requested: • Synthetic turf infields and soccer field. • New natural-turf multi-use fields and an additional natural turf football field. • Lighting Assessment and new LED sports field lighting, including Howell Field and Jim Nichols Tennis Courts (nearby City owned sports field and facility). • Irrigation, landscaping and turf improvements for entire complex • Tree and Stump Removal. • New basketball field house with multiple courts, restrooms and office space for staff. • New Storage buildings near football field. • Water fountains throughout the complex. • Public Restrooms. • Shade structures and shaded seating areas. • Bleachers at new and existing fields. • New walking paths throughout complex.
