Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Agreement is intended to enable ODNR to identify the surface owners of the tracts (as defined in R.C. 1509.91(J)) of real property on which oil and gas wells are located (“Subject Tract” or “Subject Tracts”) and to identify each person owning a right or interest in oil or gas mineral interests of the Subject Tract to plug wells pursuant to R.C. 1509.071. This Agreement is also intended to enable ODNR to identify persons holding liens on, or security interests in, any equipment appurtenant to the oil and gas wells. Except as is limited by Paragraph I.C.4. of this Appendix, the Contractor shall obtain the information requested hereunder from the public records in conformity with Ohio Standards of Title Examination established by the Ohio State Bar Association and in accordance with the State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ policies and procedures.
