Marion Correctional Institution is seeking a religious service provider to perform the duties of the Catholic Service Chaplain. Ministry services include: • Pastoral Care and visitation of incarcerated persons to include specialized units, TPU, RTU, Infirmary. • Distribute religious materials. • Make referral of incarcerated persons to appropriate services. • Assist Chaplain in appropriate duties and/or conducting religious services. • Conduct funeral service for Catholic incarcerated persons. • Perform holiday services (Easter/Christmas). • Any other requested specialized ministry service must be pre-approved by the Operation Support Center. Ministry services include: Religious Education/Instruction. Communion and /Conduct Mass Pastoral care and visitation of incarcerated persons to include specialized units TPU, RTU, Infirmary Distribute religious services materials Make referral of inmates to appropriate services Assist Chaplain in appropriate duties and/or conducting of religious services Conduct funeral services for Catholic inmates Perform holiday services (Easter/Christmas)
