Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project to conduct a fare equity analysis for Laketran to change fare media from onboard farebox purchasing to cash free. Laketran’s ideal future is one that has removed the driver from fare collection entirely. Riders would board the bus with a pass already purchased via the EZFare App, ticket vending machine, and/or other method identified by the study. The analysis should follow FTA Title VI requirements for fare equity analysis described in FTA Circular 4702.1B Ch. IV-19 through IV-21 for both transit services: Commuter and Fixed Route. 1. Evaluate the effects of fare changes on low-income and minority populations 2. Conduct ridership surveys to understand how Laketran’s ridership uses fare media with an outcome of understanding whether minority and/or low-income populations disproportionately use one payment type or fare media that would be impacted by a change to cash free
