At a minimum, proposals will be evaluated on the following requirements: 1) Standard fulfillment and distribution services a. Provide customer service over the phone and via email b. Provide distribution services, including order processing and pick and pack services. Orders should be fulfilled and shipped within two business days of receipt of order. c. Provide warehouse storage and inventory management. Advise KSU Press regularly on inventory management and make strategic recommendations for inventory reduction when needed. d. Provide KSU Press with direct access to a real-time inventory management platform. e. Manage credit and collections for all orders placed and processed through the distributor. f. warehoused books and POD books simultaneously, packing books in the same package. g. 2) Sales reporting a. Receive and aggregate licensing revenue data from third party vendors (e.g., audiobook licensing)b. Receive and aggregate sales reporting data from third party sellers such as Amazon c. Receive and aggregate sales reporting and inventory management reporting from POD vendor(s) and international distribution partner d. Receive and aggregate sales reporting of ebooks from third party vendors e. Provide KSU Press staff with direct access to real-time sales reporting data f. Generate necessary sales reporting to fulfill data requirements for Association of University Presses surveys and Kent State financial reporting requirements (e.g., annual sales by channels, aged accounts receivable reporting) 3) Royalty reporting and processing a. Provide direct access to royalty data and ability for KSU Press staff to make direct updates to author information, stored contract terms, etc. b. Royalty software that is integrated with fulfillment and inventory management systems and accounts for complex contractual terms (escalator clauses, varying payment periods, varying sales categories, multiple ISBNs per payee, sublicensing revenue, etc.) c. Royalty-processing services, wherein KSU Press provides information on new contracts and the distributor updates and maintains royalty system information and runs statements 4) Metadata and digital asset management a. Provide KSU Press and Press-authorized representatives access to metadata software and the ability to update and transmit ONIX feeds to transmission partners for print and ebooks b. they arise c. Provide digital asset management services 5) North American (US and Canada) sales representation a. Represent KSU Press in all geographical territories in the United States and Canada...
